How do I get the SpawnObject code to convert?

The quickest and easiest way to obtain the code for conversion is by opening DayZ with the DayZ Editor loaded.

Open your preferred map and also the file containing building objects (such as trees, rocks, etc.), or place your building objects.

Then, navigate to File > Export > Export to init.c(*c).

Go to your documents folder and open the saved file with your preferred text editor (Notepad++ recommended).

Copy the SpawnObject code found under the // Created Objects comment.

Paste the SpawnObject code into the designated section on our website.

Understanding Conversion Errors

Error: No match found for objectName

Description: This error occurs when the specified object name does not match any of the known objects required for processing.

Solution: Please check the spelling of the object name for any errors. Verify that the object name is correct as per the guidelines or help documentation provided. Ensure you are using names that are provided in the init.c file you should have exported.

Error: Invalid input format on line x

Description: This error means that the format of your input does not meet the expected structure needed to process the command successfully.

Solution: Make sure that your input conforms to the required syntax. This includes using correct punctuation like quotation marks, commas, and parentheses where necessary. You can refer to your exported init.c file to match the correct format.

Error: Invalid input format

Description: This error occurs when you click 'Submit' without anything to convert.

Solution: Ensure you've pasted in your SpawnObject code. Please see here for more information about getting it.

Error: Issue with Data Processing

Description: This error occurs if there is an issue with processing the data due to incorrect or corrupted format.

Solution: Ensure that all data entries are correctly formatted and complete. If you are unsure about the correct data format, review the init.c file. Make sure that any data that you are using is up-to-date and formatted correctly.
